In addition to the release of a brand new still featuring Noomi Rapace, Prometheus writer Damon Lindelof managed to share some info on the scope of the film and how conversations with director David Lean (Lawrence of Arabia) helped the filmmakers in their approach.
“The movie is definitely epic in its scope. One of the filmmakers that we ended up talking about to a fair degree of redundancy was David Lean, who directed ‘Lawrence of Arabia.’ We wanted to make the movie feel big by having the characters be small in big spaces, That connected to the larger themes we were talking about — that we’re all just these little gnats crawling around on our little planet.”
Thanks to the folks over at Shock Till You Drop, we’ve now been made aware of a fairly big Easter egg in the latest photo from Ridley Scott’s Prometheus. By enhancing the above image, we can clearly make out two Space Jockey suits in standing behind Noomi Rapace.
Directed by Ridley Scott, Prometheus stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Therone, Idris Elba, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce, Logan Marshall-Green and Ben Foster and is due to be released on June 8th, 2012.
