Brett Booth Confirms Departure From ‘Teen Titans’ Series

Teen Titans - GeekRest.com

It appears that DC Comics artist Brett Booth has confirmed that he will indeed be leaving Teen Titans after completing a 16-issue run on the series. Booth confirmed his departure by revealing that he will soon be working on his “final issue” after just completing his duties on issue #15.

Also just finishing up TT 15 today. I should be starting my final issue next week!

Booth, who co-created the character Backlash with Jim Lee at Wildstorm, has been illustrating the Teen Titans series since the start of the New 52 relaunch, complimenting the writing of Scott Lobdell as they carry the adventures of Red Robin, Kid Flash, Superboy, Wonder Girl, Solstice and newcomer Skitter.

It now remains to be seen where DC will be moving Booth, and possibly even Lobdell, as the series continues from issue #16 onwards.

Here’s hoping we learn more it at NYCC!
