Marvel Reveals New ‘Thunderbolts’ Title Launching In December

Marvel has unveiled that they will be launching a brand new team book that was first teased along with several other upcoming Marvel NOW! titles, revealing that a new Thunderbolts series is on the way from writer Daniel Way and Steve Dillon.
The new series was first teased last week with a simple title card that read “Lightning” with a red crosshair over the lettering. We here at GeekRest immediately began to play the guessing game as to which character(s) would be featured in the new title and the Thunderbolts team was high on the probability list. We also had a strong feeling that, if this was to be a Thunderbolts book, there was a good chance that the Punisher might be joining the team’s ranks after Greg Rucka hinted that the vigilante would be joining a team book later in the year.
Sure enough, the new team roster has been revealed and the Punisher is front and center on the cover!
Thunderbolts #1 arrives in stores this December.
