‘The Flying Man’ Short Film Delivers The World’s Creepiest Superhero

The following short film was directed, produced, financed, edited and written by Marcus Alqueres and has been playing on loop on our screens for the better half of the afternoon. Alqueres has delivered an impressive superhero-inspired short that gives us an eerie, real-life take on what we can only compare to a Punisher-esque vigilante with superpowers as he takes to the streets to punish the guilty.

The fact that it creeps us out as much as it impresses only proves that this is a truly beautiful (and powerful) piece of work.

Dear Cyclops, Nightwing Wants His Costume Back

I know it shouldn’t irk me as much as it does, but I can’t seem to get over the uncanny (no pun intended) similarities between DC’s Nightwing and Cyclops’ Phoenix costume from the Avengers Vs. X-Men event. Granted, it’s not the end of the world but it’s enough to make me question some of the original ideas that Marvel COULD have explored in creating the new costume for Cyclops.

Wardrobe nitpicking aside, what do you think of the AvX event so far?
