James Asmus Talks ‘Quantum and Woody’ From Valiant
The folks at Comic Vine recently spoke with writer James Asmus about his upcoming team-up with Valiant for the epic relaunch of “Quantum and Woody.” The revamped 1990s series was announced earlier in March with a release date set for July 10th. The upcoming series has a lot of factors going for it in terms of both attracting new readers and honoring a cult-classic title from a [post-Acclaim] Valiant.
The first issue will even include another QR code voice-over variant cover, similar to what Valiant did for their hit “X-O Manowar” relaunch.

Set to debut on Disney XD’s Marvel Universe block, the upcoming show is set to replace the fan-favorite Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes, a series that featured the same core characters as seen in Joss Whedon’s The Avengers movie. The upcoming show bring backs the original characters from EMH in addition to the Falcon, the popular 1970s character set to be introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
