Warner Bros. has added another cast member to their upcoming DC Comics-based Gotham series, revealing that actor Donal Logue will be playing Harvey Bullock. No stranger to fans of the Batman universe, the official character description bills Bullock as “Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor, the rough-around-the-edges Detective Harvey Bullock plays loose with police procedure, but he gets results … and he does it with old-school, forceful panache.”
The CW made a surprising announcement earlier this week, revealing that John Wesley Shipp – the actor who played Barry Allen/The Flash in CBS’ short-lived 1990 tv show – will be guest starring in the pilot episode of the upcoming Flash series. Despite the network keeping the role a closely guarded secret, Warner Bros. has revealed that the actor has been cast in a “mystery role” that would most likely expand to a recurring status if the show gets greenlit saying that his role is “intended to be a recurring guest star in series.”
