A new wave of promo images have surfaced online featuring a few of the products that will be filling store shelves for Gareth Edward’s Godzilla. In addition to revealing both the action figure and clothing tie-ins for the upcoming film, one of the promos appear to give us our first look at one of the “new” monsters we’ll be seeing on the big screen!
Hasbro has released the first official look at their upcoming action figures for James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy, showing off seven figures that include Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Peter Quill/Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) and Groot (Vin Diesel).
Remember that recently leaked image on 4chan that purported to show a box set of original X-Men figures? Look’s like the image was legit as Hasbro has officially announced they will soon be releasing an ‘All New X-Men’ Box Set as part of their Marvel Legends action figure line. The news arrives just as Hasbro prepares to reveal several new items at next month’s Toy Fair, making this their first official glimpse at what’s to come in 2014.
The Hasbro toy company began making small waves today when they announced that they will be doing away with some of the more complicated transformation procedures that generally accompany their iconic line of Transformers toys. In an article published by The New York Times, the company has revealed that their upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction line of toys will be the first series to feature an all-new visual look for the figures as well as a revamped design for the toys’ features.
McFarlane Toys has revealed their first official press images for Wave 5 of The Walking Dead action figures based on the hit AMC TV series. Arriving in stores in February, fans will be able to grab all-new 5″ figures of their favorite cast members from the show including new versions of Glenn, Maggie, Tyreese, a zombiefied Merle Dixon and a Charred Walker.
DC Collectibles has unveiled it’s latest action figure based on 2011′s Batman: Arkham City video game…and it’s a doozy. Standing over thirteen inches tall, the Batman: Arkham City Clayface Deluxe Action Figure is officially the largest action figure that DC Collectibles has ever produced. The impressive figure will include switchable arms, an interchangeable head and eleven points of articulation. The articulation count is fewer than most of DC Collectibles’ previously released figures, but considering the size of this beast, we’ll be the last ones to complain.
NECA has given fans a reason to get excited with the release of test shot showing off their Batman: Arkham Origins Batman figure! The upcoming figure will stand a whopping 18″ high and will come with accessories that include the Dark Knight’s grapple gun and signature Batarang.
Toymaker NECA announced on Wednesday that they will be releasing a special edition NES-themed Freddy Krueger action figure. Originally released in 1989, the 8-bit figure is based on both the cult classic film and video game, “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
