Warner Bros. has released the first official image from The CW’s “The Flash”, giving us a clear look at actor Grant Gustin in costume as he’ll appear in the upcoming superhero series. Despite having already appeared in two “Arrow” episodes as Barry Allen, the new photo gives us our first look at the actual suit design that Gustin will be sporting on the small screen. Designed by Academy Award-winner Colleen Atwood, the same designer behind Stephen Amell’s “Arrow” costume, the new suit appears to be a faithful adaptation of the DC Comics character while sporting a darker shade of red than the comics.
The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that The CW is currently developing a new tv series based on another character from the DC universe, setting their sights on Rex Tyler (aka ‘Hourman’) as their next superhero series. According to THR, the series will tell the story of the “brilliant-yet-troubled pharmaceutical analyst who discovers that the visions that have plagued him since childhood are actually glimpses of tragic events occurring one hour in the future.”

The CW has released several new stills from the upcoming episode of Arrow, the popular TV series based on the classic DC Comics superhero, Green Arrow. The new episode, titled “Year’s End”, continues to follow the early days of billionaire Oliver Queen, who takes up the mantle of “Arrow” following his return to Starling City after having been shipwrecked on an island for five years. The “Year’s End” episode marks the first Christmas for Oliver since his return from the island, and also marks the first appearance of a mysterious new figure who appears to be a master archer and promises to be his “toughest adversary yet.”
