DC Collectibles has announced that they will be unveiling their 2013 product line-up at the New York Toy Fair later this month and have released a select number of promo photos on The Source ahead of the convention. The company will be releasing several new action figure sets and statues based on Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, DC’s ‘New 52′ character lineup, the upcoming Injustice: Gods Among Us video game and their hit DC Nation animation block seen on Cartoon Network. Fans can also expect to see collectible statues based on Batman: Arkham City video game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. (more..)
Cartoon Network has revealed their 2013-2014 TV show lineup today and, much to the dismay of fans, confirmed that that “Green Lantern: The Animated Series” and “Young Justice” have been canceled. While this may not come as the biggest surprise for the “Young Justice” viewers who paid attention to both the series’ hiatus and subsequent cancellation of its comic book counterpart, the news certainly comes as a blow for fans. Together with the end of “Green Lantern: The Animated Series”, this leaves only “Beware the Batman” and “Teen Titans Go” as the remaining DC Nation shows, both of which have yet to premiere on the network.
Cartoon Network has officially announced that fans will soon be getting new episodes of “Green Lantern: The Animated Series”, “Young Justice: Invasion”, and more shorts from the fan-favorite “DC Nation” animation block. The announcement brings the official dates for the series returns, effectively marking the end of a hiatus that began when several DC Comics shows were unexpectedly pulled from the programming lineup.

Check out the beautiful-looking debut episode of Bat Man of Shanghai, a series of anime-styled shorts by Wolf Smoke Studio, which has begun airing on Cartoon Network’s DC Nation block of programming. Set in an alternate universe, the short takes place in “1930 China and featuring an alternate version of Catwoman and a cameo by Bane.” The animation is brilliant and if Warner Bros. gives the studio the ok, Wolf Smoke says that they’re eager to produce more shorts for the network.

Cartoon Network has given us a special preview look at the new animated short premiering on the DC Nation block this weekend. The clip features the super friends Wonder Girl and Batgirl as they try to enlist the assistance of Supergirl, whose been grounded at home by her famous Cousin of Steel.
DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network have released the first trailer forBeware the Batman, a brand new CG animated series that was first teased last month in a mysterious promo image. Created to serve as a replacement for Batman: The Brave and the Bold, the upcoming series will be joining the ranks of Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice as part of DC Nation’s programming block currently seen on Cartoon Network .
Cartoon Network has released two new clips from this Saturday’s DC Nation block on their network channel and one of them just so happens to feature the one I’ve been looking forward to the most…ANIMAL MAN! Despite being only 20 seconds in length, the Animal Man clip is hilarious, as is the additional Batgirl short released alongside it.
