The Starboost (Mark XXXIX) suit has stood out from the crowd since its introduction in Iron Man 3. Its cool space suit design with a mixture of white, gold, and black colors has helped it become a fan favorite among all the suits from the “House Party Protocol”.

It features white, gold, and black colored armor with an embossed pattern, two gold-colored face masks, LED light-up functions and figure stand with flexible pillar for dynamic posing.
The good folks over at ScreenCrush have apparently discovered an overlooked easter egg in Shane Black’s Iron Man 3, which gives us a brief glimpse at The Punisher emblem in Trevor’s mansion. If not for The Punisher, the emblem may be a nod to Crossbones, another popular Marvel villain who will be making his big-screen appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier next year.
Storyboard artist Federico D’Allesandro has just released his beautifully illustrated animatics from Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 which reveal some very different outcomes for several some of the scenes we saw on the big screen. In addition to showing us the attack sequence on Tony’s Malibu mansion and more action from Rhodey in the final battle scene, we also get a look at a much different final scene with Ben Kingsley’s Mandarin (aka, Trevor Slattery).
Arriving just ahead of next month’s Blu-ray and DVD release of Marvel’s Iron Man 3, Yahoo! Movies has debuted a new behind-the-scenes gag reel featuring Robert Downey Jr. having fun on the set. In addition to both the included deleted and alternate scenes, the upcoming Iron Man 3 Blu-ray will also include an audio commentary by director Shane Black, several making-of featurettes, a gag reel and a behind-the-scenes look Thor: The Dark World along with a brand new “Marvel One Shot” short feature starring Hayley Atwell as Agent Carter.
Robert Downey Jr. recently celebrated the success of Iron Man 3 at a small private dinner in Los Angeles this week and rightfully so. Disney’ $200 million sequel earned approximately $175 million over the course of the opening weekend in North America, making it the second biggest weekend of all time – second only to Joss Whedon’s The Avengers (another RDJ/Stark enterprise).

Marvel Studios and Disney have unleashed the firs official trailer for Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World, picking up after the events of The Avengers with Thor having returned home to Asgard. The upcoming sequel features the return of Chris Hemsworth as Thor with Natalie Portman and Tom Hiddleston reprising their roles as Jane Foster and Loki, respectively. Even Thor (and Loki’s) father Odin, played by Anthony Hopkins, returns to warn of a dark and ancient evil that pre-dates existence itself now threatens the world.
